Boyd, Powers & Williamson has established itself as a leader in the field of Commercial Litigation after securing a string of large verdicts in complex financial, tech and business disputes. These include a $26.5 million verdict on behalf of XIP, LLC, a Fort Worth-based telecom company involved in a trade secrets suit against a Plano-based company. Another recent trial resulted in a $4.5 million fraud and deceptive trade practices verdict on behalf of a North Texas convenience store and gas station in a dispute over a storm damage claim with its insurance provider, claims adjuster and a local construction company. The firm also secured a record $96.2 million final judgment currently on appeal against BBVA Compass Bank in a dispute over fraud claims related to the bank’s treatment of a developer of three luxury subdivisions being built in North Texas.
