Derrick Boyd, Scott Lindsey and Marcus Mungioli of Boyd, Powers & Williamson have been selected to the 2024 Texas Super Lawyers list. Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Super Lawyers selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. 

Based in the Decatur office, founder partner Derrick Boyd has been named to the Super Lawyers list 15 consecutive years, going back to 2009. His practice areas are Civil Litigation: Plaintiff, Intellectual Property Litigation, Business Litigation, and Securities Litigation. Mr. Boyd is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in civil trial law, 

Partner Scott Lindsey, who is based in BPW’s Fort Worth office, makes the Super Lawyers list for the fifth consecutive time. His practice areas are Appellate, Civil Litigation: Plaintiff, Family Law, Personal Injury – General: Plaintiff. Mr. Lindsey is board certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

This is the first appearance on the Super Lawyers list for partner Marcus Mungioli, who is also based the Fort Worth office. He was named to the Rising Star list from 2005-2008 and 2010-2011. His practice areas are Civil and Business Litigation. Mr. Mungioli represents corporate and individual clients in federal and state courts, both at trial and on appeal.
