Boyd, Powers & Williamson is proud to announce that firm partners Derrick Boyd and Scott Lindsey have earned repeat honors in the 2022 edition of Texas Super Lawyers.

The Super Lawyers designation confers honors on top-rated lawyers in the state, with just 5 percent of practicing attorneys being named to the list. The Super Lawyers designation follows an extensive, patented and peer-influenced nomination process. The honors are given annually to those who excel in the profession. This is Mr. Boyd’s 13th year to earn Super Lawyers honors and the second year for Mr. Lindsey.

Mr. Boyd is a founding partner of the firm. He focuses his work on civil litigation on behalf of plaintiffs and represents clients in intellectual property litigation, business litigation, complex financial disputes, and securities litigation issues. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a J.D. and a B.A.

Mr. Lindsey is a partner in our Fort Worth office. He is board-certified in civil appellate law, and his practice centers on civil trials and appeals in Texas. He holds a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law, now Texas A&M University School of Law.

Texas Super Lawyers also extended posthumous honors to founding partner Allen Williamson, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on May 14, 2022. Mr. Williamson had been named a Super Lawyer every year since 2013.
